1. Introduction & acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Tiger Courier's website (tigercourierbd.com), mobile application, and all courier and parcel delivery services provided by Tiger Courier in Bangladesh.
By registering as a merchant, placing a delivery order, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
2. Merchant registration
To access our delivery services, merchants must register an account. By registering, you agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current information during sign-up.
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share them with third parties.
Notify us immediately at info@tigercourierbd.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be providing false information or violating these Terms.
3. Delivery services
Tiger Courier offers the following delivery service categories across Bangladesh:

Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by such factors.
4. Prohibited items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being sent through Tiger Courier. Merchants found sending prohibited items will have their account suspended and may face legal action:
Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
Counterfeit currency, forged documents, or fraudulent goods
Flammable, hazardous, or toxic chemicals
Live animals or perishable biological materials
Human remains or medical waste
Pornographic or obscene materials
Any item prohibited under the laws of Bangladesh
Tiger Courier reserves the right to inspect any parcel suspected of containing prohibited items, in accordance with applicable Bangladesh law.
5. Parcel packaging & declaration
Merchants are fully responsible for the proper packaging of all items before handover to Tiger Courier. Our requirements:
Parcels must be securely sealed to prevent damage or spillage during transit.
Fragile items must be appropriately cushioned and labeled "FRAGILE".
Merchants must accurately declare the contents and value of each parcel at the time of booking.
Misdeclaration of parcel contents or value is a breach of these Terms and may result in account termination.
Tiger Courier is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the merchant.
6. Cash on delivery (COD)
Tiger Courier provides Cash on Delivery collection services for merchants. The following terms apply:
Merchants set the COD amount at the time of parcel booking. This amount may not be changed after pickup.
Our delivery agents collect payment in full from recipients upon delivery. Partial payments are not accepted.
Collected COD funds are settled to merchants as per the agreed payment cycle (typically within 1โ3 business days after successful delivery).
In cases of failed delivery, COD amounts are not collected and no settlement is made for that parcel.
Tiger Courier charges a COD service fee as per the current pricing schedule listed on our website.
Merchants must ensure their provided bank or mobile banking details are accurate. Tiger Courier is not responsible for failed settlements due to incorrect account information.
7. Pricing & charges
Delivery charges are based on parcel weight, service type (Same Day, Next Day, Sub-City, Outside City), and destination zone. Current pricing is published on tigercourierbd.com and is subject to change with prior notice.
Charges are calculated at the time of booking based on declared weight. Re-weighing may occur at our hub.
If the actual weight exceeds the declared weight, additional charges will be applied and deducted from COD settlement or invoiced to the merchant.
Return charges apply for parcels that cannot be delivered after multiple attempts.
Tiger Courier reserves the right to revise pricing. Updated pricing will be reflected on the website with at least 7 days' notice.
8. Parcel tracking
Tiger Courier provides real-time parcel tracking through our website and mobile app. Tracking information is updated at key delivery milestones: pickup, in-transit, out for delivery, delivered, or returned.
Merchants and recipients can track parcels using the unique tracking ID assigned at booking.
Tracking data is provided for informational purposes. Minor delays in tracking updates may occur.
Tiger Courier is not liable for decisions made by merchants or recipients based on tracking information alone.
9. Returns & failed deliveries
In the event of a failed delivery, the following process applies:
Our delivery agent will attempt delivery at least once. If the recipient is unavailable, a notification will be sent to the merchant.
The merchant may reschedule delivery within 48 hours at no additional charge (one reschedule per parcel).
If delivery cannot be completed after the reschedule, the parcel will be returned to the merchant's address.
Return delivery charges apply as per the current pricing schedule.
Parcels unclaimed by the merchant for more than 14 days after return notification may be disposed of without liability.
10. Loss & damage claims
Tiger Courier takes every precaution to ensure safe delivery. In the event of parcel loss or damage caused by our fault:
Claims must be submitted in writing to info@tigercourierbd.com within 48 hours of the expected delivery date or delivery confirmation.
Claims must include the tracking ID, a description of the issue, and supporting evidence (photos, invoices).
Compensation is limited to the declared value of the parcel, up to a maximum of BDT 5,000 per parcel, unless additional insurance has been arranged.
No compensation is payable for damage resulting from improper packaging, prohibited items, or misdeclared contents.
Tiger Courier is not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses arising from delivery failures or delays.
11. Merchant responsibilities
As a merchant using Tiger Courier's services, you agree to:
Ensure all parcel information entered at booking is accurate and complete.
Make parcels available for pickup at the agreed time and location.
Not use Tiger Courier's services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
Ensure recipients are made aware of the delivery and COD amount prior to dispatch.
Comply with all applicable laws of Bangladesh in relation to the goods being shipped.
12. Intellectual property
All content on the Tiger Courier website and mobile app โ including the brand name, logo, images, text, and software โ is the intellectual property of Tiger Courier and is protected under applicable Bangladesh law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our content without prior written permission.
13. Mobile app usage
Our mobile app is provided for the convenience of merchants and customers. By using the app, you agree to:
Use the app only for its intended purpose of managing deliveries and tracking parcels.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or tamper with the app or its underlying systems.
Keep the app updated to the latest version for optimal performance and security.
We may update or withdraw the app at any time without prior notice. Features may change across versions.
14. Termination of service
Tiger Courier reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a merchant's account under the following circumstances:
Violation of any provision of these Terms & Conditions.
Sending prohibited items or misdeclaring parcel contents.
Fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or attempts to manipulate COD settlements.
Abuse of our staff, delivery agents, or customer support team.
Repeated failed deliveries due to incorrect recipient information provided by the merchant.
Upon termination, any pending COD settlements owed to the merchant will be processed and paid within 7 business days, after deducting any outstanding charges.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from the use of Tiger Courier's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
We encourage merchants to first contact our support team at info@tigercourierbd.com to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal action.
16. Changes to these terms
Tiger Courier may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify registered merchants via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
